Our stone built house is located in the heart of the traditional village of Archanes, in walking distance to the main square and just 15km away from Heraklion. An authentic village with history that goes back to Minoan civilization, set in a rural area, surrounded by mountains and vineyards. Many excellent wineries are in this area.
The space
A traditional stone built house perfectly matched with a modern interior. Entering from the yard the door leads you into the open plan living-dining area and a modern kitchen fully equipped with fridge/freezer, oven, stove, microwave, table with 6 chairs, sofa bed, fireplace, Flat screen TV and WC.
The stairs leads up to the spacious, bright bedroom. It features a large double bed, 2 nightstands, a wardrobe, an armchair and a large en suite bathroom with shower.
The beautiful patio in front of the house features a table with chairs where you can enjoy your meals or sip your glass of wine. The yard features a built-in BBQ which can be used.
Other things to note
Prince Charles and Camilla didn’t miss out on visiting Archanes and tasting the different wines and specialities of the area, on their visit in Greece in May 2018! Would you?
