My Personal Experience: A Memorable Meteora DayTrip Adventure

Starting the Journey

I arrived at the meeting point, easily spotting the ‘Meteora Thrones – Travel Center‘ (logo). It was 07:45 am at Larissis Station, Athens. I got there by metro, just a 5-euro taxi ride from the center.

On the Bus to Meteora

By 08:00 am, we were on our way. No tickets are needed, just my name for the driver. I chose a seat by the window, eager for the views.

The Tour Begins

Despite the recent floods, our bus journey was smooth. We reached Kalabaka around 13:00. Our local guide was waiting, ready to show us Meteora’s wonders.

Exploring the Monasteries
